BY TRAIN:
To go from the Venice Santa Lucia Railway station
to the Hotel "Locanda Salieri" :
It will take you 10 minutes walking normally.
You
need to cross the Grand Canal passing over the Ponte Dei
Scalzi bridge and then follow the arrows our well explained
map.
After the Scalzi
bridge, you will not have any other bridges to cross,
it is a big one, but the only one! Once on the other side,
at the bottom of the bridge, turn
right and go straight on leaving the Grand Canal on you
right until you arrive at the foot of a little bridge.
Do not go over the bridge but turn left
just before it and follow the Canal dei Tolentini
leaving it on your right. Go straight on, even if the
canal curves, follow the curve right and then
an elbow left : there you will arrive in Canal del
Gaffaro (our canal!). You are now in Fondamenta Minotto
- 30 meters down the street and we
are on your left.
